EGGS AND CO CANADA is hiring a Food and Beverage Server in Sedgewick, Alberta, Canada. This is a permanent, full-time position offering $18.15 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, present menus and answer questions about food and beverages.
  • Take customer orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

Experience

  • Candidates should have 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
  • A secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is required.
  • Previous experience in restaurant, cafeteria or food service operations would be beneficial.
  • Candidates should be familiar with customer service and food and beverage service tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
  • Ability to take orders and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate an electronic cash register and point-of-sale system.
  • ProServe program certification.
  • Ability to handle cash and other forms of payment accurately.
  • Ability to describe menu items and recommend suitable selections.
