Key Responsibilities
As a Gardener, Mower Operator or Brushcutter, you will be responsible for:
- Operating zero-turn and out-front mowers for commercial mowing.
- Carrying out brushcutting, edging and general turf maintenance.
- Maintaining garden beds through weeding, pruning, hedging and mulching.
- Performing weed spraying and plant health management.
- Safely operating landscaping tools, machinery and small equipment.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have the following:
Experience
- Experience as a mower operator, gardener or landscaper is preferred.
- Experience operating zero-turn or out-front mowers is highly regarded.
- Experience with brushcutting, edging, pruning, hedging and weed management.
- Previous commercial landscaping or council contract experience is advantageous.
Skills and Qualifications
- Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card).
- Current open Australian car licence with no interlocks or learner permits.
- Reliable transport to the depot or work site.
- Proficient English for workplace and safety communication.
- Ability to safely operate landscaping machinery and equipment.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and contribute positively to a team environment.
- ACDC Certification is preferred.
- TMI, Traffic Control or other relevant tickets are advantageous.
- Certificate III in Horticulture or a related landscaping, parks, gardens or turf management qualification is preferred.
- Agricultural chemicals distribution control licence is advantageous.
