Responsibilities
Working as a waiter/waitress your responsibilities include the following:
- Provide warm, professional and consistent service to customers.
- Work across lunch and dinner services at a 100-cover Bar & Grill.
- Anticipate customer needs and exceed their expectations.
- Take customer orders accurately.
- Provide efficient table service.
- Process credit card and other customer payments.
- Maintain strong knowledge of menu items and daily specials.
- Become familiar with guest profiles and preferences.
- Work closely with the wider hospitality team to maintain smooth service.
- Maintain professionalism and composure during busy periods.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Demonstrate leadership, reliability and initiative with the potential to progress into a supervisor role.
