Your duties may include:
- Creating and preparing bakery goods, pastries and specialty desserts.
- Baking mixed dough and batters.
- Preparing specialty foods and complete meals for events, banquets and special functions.
- Creating new recipes and developing new pastry products.

Requirements
Candidates should have:
- College/CEGEP education in baking and pastry arts, baking, pastry chef training or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the pastry or baking field.
- A Safe Food Handling Certificate.
- Food Safety Certificate.
- American Institute of Baking (AIB) certification is an asset or required as applicable.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, baking, and pastry techniques.
- Experience preparing bakery goods and desserts.
- Knowledge of Canadian, European, vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan cuisine.
- Experience working with chocolate, eggs and dairy, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and mushrooms.
